It's been a busy old 2017 here in the Frank Health studio - and with just a month or so left until the year draws to a close, we thought it would be an apt time to write about some of the exciting digital projects that we're proud to have worked on over the past few months, as well as what's going live in the near future.

Recent Projects

Frank Health worked together with West London Clinical Commissioning Group to deliver an NHS Response website for people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire.

The website offers support, advice and signposts people to physical and mental health services, and is aimed at people directly affected by the disaster as well as families, friends and members of the local community.

Given the nature of the website, and the sensitivity around the subject, we developed a responsive platform that gives information in an easy-to-access format, signposting users clearly to their needs.

One project the team particularly enjoyed working on this year was the new public-facing site for Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. Steve Knight, Communications Officer at the Trust, said:

"I was impressed from start to finish with the professionalism, responsiveness and value for money throughout the entire project. Having supplied a sitemap to Frank Health and content for 20 pages, I assumed that only those 20 pages would have been created, but the developers created all the pages from our original sitemap to enable quick and easy content population.

It was obvious from the outset that Frank Health is experienced in working with NHS clients, the design and content management of the site work perfectly for a NHS Trust.

Working with Frank Health on our new public website has been an absolute pleasure and I look forward to working with them again in the future."

Another great project the team had the opportunity to work on this year was for West Yorkshire and Harrogate Partnership STP (that's Sustainability and Transformation Partnership, for those not in the know - you can read more about STPs here).

Karen Coleman, Communication and Engagement Lead for the partnership, said:

“I really enjoyed working with Frank. They have been so helpful from start to finish in developing our website to agreed timescales. Very efficient and responsive, always willing to talk through any ideas we had and to look at ways of making this happen. Big thanks to Alex, Mike, Steph, Kris and Holly for all their technical ‘know how’ and customer support. Looking forward to work together more.”

Frank will soon be developing WYH Partnership's Cancer Alliance and Mental Health Alliance websites - watch this space in the new year.

With feedback from pharmacy colleagues, stakeholders and the general move to community pharmacy, Hampshire and Isle of Wight LPC renamed in October 2017 to Community Pharmacy South Central.

Frank Health were approached to scope, design and develop a new public facing website to reflect the new organisation, with an engaging look and feel and simple navigation. CPSC were thrilled with the outcome - the new website helps staff to keep up to date with current news and events, assists with professional development and enhances the service they are able to offer to patients.

Upcoming Projects

Some projects that will be going live very soon include:

The new and improved website for Wessex Healthier Together, including a brand new dedicated Young People's area. The site will feature much improved navigation and search functions, as well as having a more modern and intuitive design. Alongside this will be the affiliated Solent NHS Trust Children's Services website, based on the same platform.

Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust - brand new public-facing website with region specific content selection and a slick, fully responsive design.

Alder Hey Children's NHS Trust - new public-facing website and staff extranet system for the world-renowned children's hospital.

The team at Frank are so pleased to be working with such a wide range of NHS organisations and services and look forward to partnering with many more throughout 2018.
